Warranty and certifications

Bosco's warranty page lists a limited lifetime warranty for stainless steel and copper sinks, ceramic and fireclay sinks, and composite granite sinks in normal domestic installations. The warranty excludes labour, as well as stains, scratches and chips from normal use. Bosco says colour fading, flaking or chipping on its black and gold stainless sinks is not a manufacturing defect. Strainers, waste fittings and other accessories are excluded from the sink warranty, while accessories and faucets carry one year against manufacturing defects. Bosco says its sinks are tested to exceed CSA B45.4 and ASME A112.19.3 (certifications page).

Care and cleaning

From Bosco's cleaning and care guide:

  • Stainless: rinse and towel-dry to prevent spots. Use mild non-abrasive cleansers without chlorine, and don't use steel wool. A mild water-and-vinegar solution removes mineral deposits. A bottom grid protects against scratches.
  • Granite composite: clean with mild dish soap and hot water, then dry. For haze or limescale, use baking soda with a half-water, half-vinegar spray. Don't leave bleach on the surface.

How to choose a Bosco sink

Start with your cabinet. Each Bosco spec page lists a minimum cabinet size, so match that first. Then choose the installation (undermount for solid-surface counters, drop-in for laminate or an existing drop-in cutout), the bowl layout and the gauge. For more on layouts, see our guide to choosing a kitchen sink for your space.
