A drop-in tub sits inside a deck or platform you build, so you choose the tile or stone around it. Many can also be undermounted, with the deck material overlapping the rim. Drop-in or undermount?
- Drop-in: the tub rim rests on top of the finished deck. It is the simpler install and the rim stays visible.
- Undermount: the tub is set below the deck and the deck material overlaps the edge, giving a clean, built-in look with no visible rim. It takes more careful framing and finishing.
Oceania says the Viele, Viele 72, Liberty Relax, Freedom and Nature can be installed as undermount tubs, and its drop-in and undermount installation guide is linked from each product page. We don't list a separate undermount-only Oceania model; you buy the drop-in and install it undermount.
Oceania Viele: six drop-in sizes
The Viele is a modern drop-in with thin, narrow edges and a spacious interior. The 60 and 66 in. sizes have one ergonomic backrest with lumbar support for a single bather; the 72 in. Viele has backrests at each end for two people. Every Viele is 21 in. deep and white.

Need the Viele look in a standard tub-shower recess? The Viele 6028 alcove bathtub (60 x 28 x 21 in.) has a three-sided tile flange and integrated front skirt, with left or right drain.
Oceania Liberty Relax 72
The Liberty Relax 72 is a long, 72 x 32 x 21.5 in. single-person tub with integrated armrests and lumbar support. Oceania designed it for relaxing in a long tub while keeping the width suitable for limited spaces. It can be undermounted, and Oceania lists a low-profile version; the Low-Profile Bath Lip (LP) is the option for that. It is offered as Soaker, AeroMassage or Super AeroMassage, and the JA72 skirt lets you install it in an alcove.

Freedom 72 vs Liberty Relax 72: both are 72 in. long with armrests, but the Freedom is 36 in. wide and listed as two-person, while the Liberty Relax is 32 in. wide for one. Oceania also makes deck-mount versions of its Tahoe (Tahoe 55 and Tahoe 66).
Soaker, AeroMassage or Super AeroMassage
Most of these tubs are offered in three systems. AeroMassage is Oceania's factory-installed air jet system with a heated blower, Easy Clean jets and a keypad. Super AeroMassage has more air jets and more power. The Kelowna and Tahoe drop-ins are offered as Soaker or AeroMassage. Air tubs need their own GFCI circuit and blower access; a deck install makes access easy, since Oceania requires an access panel of at least one square foot. What you need to buy with the tub
- Drain and overflow: not included. Soaker models list the round cable drain: WOCO14 (chrome), WOCO16, WOCO17 or WOCOMP01.
- Faucet: not included. Deck-mount on the platform or wall-mount.
- Skirt panel (alcove install only): JA60, JA60S, JA66 or JA72, as listed on each tub page.
