Coverage is for the original owner for personal household use, starting from the date of purchase from an authorized dealer, and it is not transferable. It does not cover misuse or abuse, normal wear, accidents, improper installation or maintenance, chemical or natural corrosion, fire, flood, or stains from ferrous, hard or salty water, and the unit must be tested before it is enclosed. MAAX repairs or replaces a defective product at its option; freight on replacement parts may be charged, and installation materials such as tile are not covered.
