Franke covers its food waste disposers against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for a term that depends on the model (from two years up to a lifetime for Franke; two to ten years for Kindred), per the official warranty page. Use it as intended with food waste only. Coverage applies to the original purchaser when bought from Franke or an authorized retailer and used in normal indoor residential applications. It does not cover misuse or abuse, accidental damage, normal wear, improper installation, or improper cleaning and maintenance, and replacement does not include shipping, labour, installation or removal.
