You don't have to buy a Kube Bath shower as a set. The Aqua Piazza line is also sold as separate parts: rain heads, arms, valves, handhelds and tub spouts. That means you can build the exact shower you want, in one matching finish, including brushed gold. This guide goes through the parts in the order a plumber would plan them. Step 1: choose the rain head
The 8 inch and 12 inch super-slim square heads are solid brass with silicone tips, and they come in chrome, black, white and brushed gold. For a larger shower, the 20 inch head is listed in chrome. The 40 inch dual rain head with waterfall mounts flush with the ceiling and is listed in chrome, black and brushed gold.
Step 2: wall arm or ceiling bar
Use the 17 inch wall shower arm to run the head out from the wall, or the 6 inch ceiling bar to drop it from above. Both are listed in all four finishes and include an escutcheon. A ceiling bar needs a supply line in the ceiling, so decide before framing is closed.
Step 3: pick the valve by number of outlets

All three valves are solid brass and are listed in chrome, black, white and brushed gold. Their pages also list a finished-wall indicator and level, pressure test caps and a protective cover. The "typical use" column is a planning rule of thumb. Check your layout against the valve spec sheet, and have a licensed plumber do the rough-in.
Step 4: add a handheld, tub filler or body jets
- Handheld: the Aqua Piazza handheld kit includes the handheld, a 5 foot hose and a wall adapter, in all four finishes.
- Tub filler: the 7 inch tub filler spout with aerator is for tub-shower combos, in all four finishes.
- Body jets: the Aqua Piazza body jet is listed in chrome, black and white.

So a fully brushed gold shower works with the 8 or 12 inch head, either arm, any of the three valves, the handheld kit and the tub filler. Leave out body jets if you want everything in gold. Step 5: the drain

Which Aqua Piazza valve do I need, 1-way, 2-way or 3-way?
Our 1-way valve page says it controls both temperature and water volume. The 2-way and 3-way pages add a diverter. As a rule of thumb, match the number of ways to the number of outlets, for example rain head plus handheld on a 2-way. Then confirm against the spec sheet before roughing in.
Can I build a full brushed gold Kube Bath shower?
Yes, for the core parts. The 8 and 12 inch rain heads, the 17 inch wall arm, the 6 inch ceiling bar, the 1-, 2- and 3-way valves, the handheld kit and the 7 inch tub filler are all listed in brushed gold. The Aqua Piazza body jet is listed in chrome, black and white only, and the 20 inch head in chrome.
Is it easier to buy a set or separate parts?
A set is simpler because the head, arm and valve are already matched in one finish. Separate parts make sense when you want a combination that no set offers, or a larger 20 or 40 inch head.
Do Aqua Piazza valves need soldering?
The set pages describe valve installation with threaded 1/2 inch MIP connections, with no messy welding. The valve pages also list pressure test caps and a protective plastic cover. A licensed plumber should still do the rough-in and test it.
